Operational Systems Builder for Remote-First Teams

Your team is capable.
Your systems should be too.

I come into remote-first teams, find what's quietly costing everyone their energy, build the systems that fix it, and hand off cleanly.

Most small teams don't have an operations problem. They have a visibility problem. Nobody has had the time or distance to see where the manual processes are quietly costing everyone their energy.

Hello, I’m Ashley Engbrecht, so glad you’re here!

Ashley J. Eng grew out of my 10+ years working in admin, bookkeeping, and executive support across startups and small to medium businesses.

What started as a passion for meaningful freelance work evolved into something more specific: I became the person who walks into a team, sees what others don't have the capacity to notice, and builds the systems that make everything run better.

I work best when I have a real mission to get behind. Give me a team that cares about what they're building, and I'll find every operational gap quietly costing them energy and fix it.

When I’m not glued to my tech, you’ll find me meditating, sewing, walking through the city, practicing martial arts, or exploring a new cafe, having a coffee I shouldn’t have had. always learning, always growing.

I work best with

Remote-first companies between 2 and 15 people in the digital nomad, wellness, mission-driven, and SaaS ecosystem.

Founders who are great at what they do, just not at the systems behind it. You built something real. You need someone to build the operational layers to anchor it.

Teams that are not afraid of technology and are open to better tools. You need someone to find out what's missing and connect the dots.

Founders who have been building for 5 or more years. You already know that good systems matter. You just haven't had the right person to build them yet.

Three months.
One
complete transformation.

A defined engagement with a full-circle engagement.
No open-ended retainers. No vague deliverables.

  • Month 1 — Audit Everything

I sit in your meetings, review your tools, and interview each team member about their full workflow. Nothing is assumed.

I use an AI note taker so nothing is missed. The result is a clear friction map, where the manual work is quietly costing you.

  • Month 2 — Build and Implement

We align on what needs to be fixed or automated. I build the systems, clean the tools, and implement what the audit identified

Out-of-scope items are flagged before any extra work begins.

  • Month 3 — Document and Hand Off

Loose ends closed. Processes documented. Team trained on what was built.

You receive everything needed to run these systems without me, whether internally or with a new hire stepping into a defined role.

What People Say

This is not for everyone.

I work best with founders who are ready to move. If you're still deciding whether operations matter, we're probably not the right fit yet.
