Book Review - Spirit Hacking by Shaman Durek.

Big love to the book Spirit Hacking by Shaman Durek for coming into my life right when I needed it to. Spirit Hacking has provided me with a new sense of self for a loving direction to light up the world!

I read this book when I was feeling at a low, yet open to learning more, not only about myself, yet about spirit. This book gave me an opportunity to see through the lens of a Shaman with deeper insight and knowledge. I also appreciated the non-bullshit approach. Often we as humans live in a state of chaos. This book reminds you that even through the chaos you can make powerful and impactful choices for yourself. You can lead the world by the example of what you put into yourself, and others.

A few of my favourite hacks are;

Spirit Hack - Shamanic Infusion for Self-Love

Here is where you infuse self-love into your body by getting grounded, I like to place my hands on my heart, and then say to myself (while inhaling), “I breathe self-love into my body”. After doing this for 10-15 rounds or until you FEEL the love surrounding within and around you.

Spirit Hack - Soul Talk

In this spirit hack you are on a soul walk. First thing in the morning before you can get knocked off your tacks in the day (before looking at your phone, meditation, talking to your partner, ANYTHING!). You centre yourself in an orb of self-love while showering yourself with loving words such as, I love how strong you are, I love your patience, I love your grounding presence.

By showering your inner child with love, you create an abundance of love and light. — You can also tell yourself beautiful loving words of what you would like to manifest for yourself. An example could look like, I love how you set yourself up for success, I love how driven you are in your business goals, I love seeing the joy in you when you read.

These two Spirit Hacks have been a saving grace in my life since the start of the year. What also has my mind re-adjusting is the usage of the words “working on”. You are what you say after all... Now when you change the words “working on” to “loving up on”, there is an energetic shift. When I say, I am loving up on the report. I create space to be open to receiving, and most likely getting the job done.

When you in full heart and soul believe the words you will notice a difference.

Now there is a lot of amazing qualities about the book I did not cover. Yet do grab a copy at the library, online or at a bookstore should any of this resonate with you.

Love and light,
